After a "Busy Day", what's the Panthers Cap is heading into FA?

Well only the top 51 + any dead money count as of tomorrow. Bersin, Folkerts, and Jacobs got ERFA tenders, all likely for the minimum. So those really have no bearing on the cap as all the guys at the bottom of the 51 make the minimum anyway.

Olsen's extension and the signings of Oher, Ginn, and Whittaker are obviously relevant, however. Olsen saved us a bit, with a new cap hit of $6.8m. Oher will cost $2.5m, and I haven't seen official numbers but based on contract structure the cap hits for Ginn and Fozzy should be about $1.85m and $610k, respectively.

So in total those 3 account for $4.96m and take the place of 3 $510k deals in the top 51. So their net impact is $3.43m. Add in our near-$5m rollover, about $1m adjustment, dead money, and DeAngelo still being on the books until June 1...

TL;DR: I've got us at $13,855,313. And our current rookie pool should be about $4.63m.

Good points.
