Yeah it is along the lines of ‘fraud vitiates everything’, it just prevents an honest assessment. You got guys with some acknowledged issues, really swimming upstream due to the quality of the QB. I think back to game two this year when he got a lot of targets and was unable to do anything. When you look back nothing, or maybe one, was in a decent place for him to get. I think it was week two. And ‘a lot’ maybe be overstating but there were a few. -

That jives with my theory of why we don’t have a younger backup that can push him, though not so much because the players see it but because the fans would make a fuss. Imagine right now if there were one of those on the roster….
