Yeah. Coleman is what you want in a SS. The only problem is having Harper beside him instead of Boston. Tillman is worth it because our CBs are really thin this year and we do have the best 4. The players after them are pretty bad. I wish White didn't get hurt.

In practice, keeping both Tillman and Coleman is the same as trading for one of them for a late third rounder. Am not sure if that's a trade I would have supported. For a third rounder one could get more established/better player I would think, i.e. Olsen. That being said, I fully support the view of playing Boston before Harper. Some of the angles Harper took last year, well ..

Horton does not do anything against better talent either, and he has been on the team a while. Cox displayed pretty good pass rushing ability that would come in handy, definitely situational only tho. But that is what we need on those crucial 3rd downs, you say Horton is solid but he has never flashed to me on run or pass When plays need to made he is not even in the game from what i have seen.

I never said he had flashed, I said he was solid (basically nothing special, but not awful). He is basically a run-stopper who had 3 sacks as a two down DE. This is his third season. Would be nice if he could develop his pass-rush, but they all need to work on something. Hopefully Ealy becomes that complete DE like Hardy was.

Of Carolina’s full-time ends, Horton’s three sacks were the fewest. But he was the only one in the group who was given a positive rating against the run by Pro Football Focus. For comparison sake, while Horton paced the ends with a 0.9, rookie Kony Ealy finished with a score of -9.7.
