xbox 360/madden16 question

hey guys. got an xbox 360, and madden to go along with it. got everything hooked up, and everything runs fine. just when i put the game in, nothing. it says open, tray, so i open it. put game in it and close. it says reading..., then goes back to saying open tray. am i missing a step? just want to play the game. thanks for the help.

A few steps.


1) Take your Xbox 360 console and completely unplug it.
2) Take your Xbox 360 outside of your home and place it in your car, with all accessories and games included.
3) Drive to your nearest Gamestop and trade the contents of your vehicle for either a PS4 or Xbone.

I'm afraid you got a lemon. The disk isn't being read, something is wrong with your disk drive.
