New Poster here.......as a former resident of Pittsburgh I lived through the years of Art Rooney Sr.'s Steelers winning all those SB's back in the 70's.

He was a respected and beloved owner whose players were inspired to play for him and the Steelers.

Mr. Richardson seems to be one of those owners cut out of the Rooney mold.

I'm thinking our guys really have that extra incentive to win and go as far as they can this year for many reasons......not the least is getting a ring for Mr. "Big Cat" whose efforts brought the NFL to the Carolinas........

Actually, if I recall correctly Jerry is good friends with the Steelers owners. and that's why the Panthers always end up playing the Steelers in the last preseason game each season.

But yes, I think the guys are playing with that in their minds as well.. The Big Cat Deserves that ring more than anyone!

I hope they bring it home for him!
