Conference Standings, #1 by at least 2 games

1. Carolina 9-0

2. Vikings 6-2

3. Arizona 6-2

*Everyone else has 3+ losses

Who would've imagined those three teams at the beginning of the season?? If the Seahawks can take care of the Cardinals, and depending on the Vikings outcome, we could have a 3 game lead on the 1st seed.  That's huge.  Even a 2 game lead is substantial a game past the halfway point.  Awesome sauce.

Vikings will probably win and I honestly still hope the Cardinals win. Would rather they take control of that division than have another sneaky Seattle team in the playoffs where the refs and luck of the Irish will be on their side. Cardinals have a tough schedule still so I don't think they stay with 2 losses or 3 if they win today.

I agree Cardinals needs get this W and take all the hope out of Seattle. Our offense matches up better against them.

Cardinals offense could give us trouble but when Palmer is pressured he's nowhere near as good and with CJ back I wouldn't be too worried about that. They're the same offense that we dominated last year in the playoffs except for Palmer (which granted, is a HUGE upgrade) so I agree that we should be less worried about the Cardinals than Seaturkeys. I want the Cards to win tonight but if it's a great game then I'll be happy enough with either outcome. A tie would be beautiful.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
