Maybe this will be an "all flights cancelled" weekend. That really sucks and while business is business, how many people there will be just as pissed to be missing the game?

in arizona, too.

maybe you'll find an unlikely alliance of cardinals fans who will help you out.

Hotsauce, enjoy yourself down here in the Valley of the Sun! It was 70 degrees today, perfect time to visit the the desert. Make sure you catch some In N' Out while your down, that's one thing I missed when I was stationed in Mississippi. Enjoy yourself, you'll find we're a hospitable bunch!

Yeah that In-N-Out is surprisingly good.  I think we ate that 3 times while we were in town for the Pro Bowl.  My dad had to miss last weeks game because he had his annual duck hunting trip on the coast.  I couldn't resist letting him know that we would go Hawk Hunting instead.  Made him so upset he was going to miss the game but he already had too much invested in the trip.

I remember having to swap schedules and working an 8pm Sat - 5am Sun job when we first bought our PSLs.  Was surprisingly the best thing ever.  I'd workout eat breakfast and then begin the ritual of picking everyone up.  I'd turn into a zombie after the game ended.  No way I was going to miss that game though.  Sun. - Tues. night off was rather nice during football season.

    • Option A:  Pay your starting QB starting QB money. Option B:  Look for a starting QB for 4-10 years (or longer) while wasting the talent at every other position.    How many of the top 20 QB's do you think are worth what they are being paid?   When you factor in the last year of his present deal his contract is really an average of 45 million per year which in today's QB market is a very, very good deal. I wish we'd had found a Brock Purdy to pay 50+ million a year right after we parted ways with Cam.  Ya'll go ahead and live in fairy tale land where good to great (much less elite) QB's are available to pay. Just the fact that they had the chance to pay Brock after the disaster of trading up for Lance is a testament that when you find a quarter back you can win with, complete in the playoffs and superbowls with, you pay him.
    • They will still be a playoff team but they aren't contenders anymore IMO. They won't be able to spend like they have when they went to a SB and proved he couldn't carry a win at that level with a really good team around him. Now he is going to have to do it with less to spend around him. They just locked in to being a playoff bound team that's going to be a known speed bump for whoever will represent the NFC in the SB.
    • Hmm. I think he'll live up to it. Last year, about half of his team was on IR it seems, at one time or another. Year before, Super Bowl appearance. Year before that, playoff run after being third on the depth chart and being pressed into service. Is he one of the greatest in the game right now? Nope. No chance of that. Is he in the top 10 going into next season? Pretty good chance of that.  Would 20 or more teams in this league love to have the guy as their starting QB. Most likely so. He's a good QB who can implement his coach's game plan to a T and has both the confidence of and confidence in his teammates. That'll take you a long way in this league if you've got the right cast around you, and he does.
