Alot of love here for a guy that was being crapped on just a year ago. Amazing what saying something nice about our team can do for someone.

The Madden cover? Remember all the hate spewed on here for the guy relating to that infamous interview? Now the same "fire" in a player is praised because he defended Cam.

Not exactly sure many here "hated" Richard Sherman.

He may have been hated as a football player, cause he was so good when the Panthers offense seemingly always ended up in a tight game against them (and a loss).

However, I don't think anyone ever took personal shots against him.

Even if he did get criticized for his "infamous interview", I'm not sure anymore venom were spewed his way after that?

We have to know how to separate temporary vs permanent.

Shereman's a good football player, and was always a smart guy.

OK, replace the word "hate" for the word "shade" ( as that seems to be the hip way yunguns express what is essentially talking poo about someone)

 

And yeah. Plenty around here were throwing shade on him, and to my point...were doing it for the exact same reason that are licking his sack now. (He speaks his mind / He is honest / He doesn't give a damn.

 

But its cool though. More than likely 85% of the people reading joined in the last few weeks/months....so noone really gives a damn~  :)

Eh. Don't take it that seriously to begin with.

It's not exactly like Sherman ever had anything against the Panthers or their fans to begin with (either verbally, or by actions). And his words supporting Cam only reinforces this notion.
