If We Win... What Does It Mean

It won't mean a thing. Jake could post a rating of 120 for the next eight games and people would still hate him. Most have already made up their mind. Fox is done around here as well. I'm not quite sure about Peppers--he may be saved by the UNC connection.

I doubt the FO wouldn't turn down a good trade for pep next year.

It means we're 1-0 in the division for one thing.

I think it will mean a lot to this team and perhaps help them form an identity to win this game in the Georgia Dome.

I think it's next to delusional to expect us to win this game, but if we did, it could be a catalyst for success.

If our running game gets rolling and our D gets off the field (and it has to happen for more than just one drive), we might get a glimmer of confidence. My main concern is that this team has a history of getting behind early, esp. vs Atlanta, and when Jake is forced to pass the ball to convert 3rd down, the other team is in our backfield all day. Plus, last year we had a hard time protecting a lead. Either way, this matchup doesn't favor us.

John Abraham has our number, Michael Turner has our number, Matt Ryan has our number and most importantly the Falcons coaching staff.

I'm resigned to an 0-3 start. I'm not usually a hater, but I have to be realistic. I don't know where all the cheeriness is coming from on this board. We tend to struggle against the Falcons, we can't catch a break, we are not playing well...

even if we play well (and Jake plays well) I expect our D to get tired in the second half and give up a lot of yards through the air.

The winner of this game will probably score 35+. Do you really think that's going to be us?

    • Speaking of false premises, I literally said “his rookie year” in my posts and you are arguing over something said a week ago as if that is what I was referring to. I tried to stop talking to you since you admitted yourself it’s pointless, but you just can’t stop running your mouth and bullshitting for some reason. We get it, you think you’re smart. Let me know when you’ve searched all the threads from 2023. I really don’t care enough to do it, but if you want to call me obtuse and all this stupid poo then you should put your money where your mouth is and prove it instead of just running off at the mouth. I wasn’t in here making anything personal or specific to you or anybody else, the only name I mentioned was MRenshaw who is a clear and known troll, but you seem to have taken it personally, so maybe you’re part of the problem.
    • He is the president of the Huddle TMac fan club so he is a bit oversensitized to something that isn't even remotely offensive in the slightest. I don't really like when people call me by my last name but in various work settings, it happens all the time. I don't get my panties in a bunch over it.
    • This fanbase has called bryce every disrespectful name in the book let alone other people on the huddle. Who cares what you call him as long as it isn’t disrespectful. You act like he’s gonna log in to the huddle and get his feelings hurt.
