An apology to the Carolina Panthers players.

I am not going to make this a GM or coach bashing thread it is honestly a heart felt apology to the players who bust their ass for this team year after year.Ā

Guys like Thomas Davis, Luke Kuechly, Greg Olsen, Cam Newton, Ryan Khalil, I am sorry you have to go through this bull poo. Davis and Olsen especially. Their window may now be closed thanks to this disaster of a season. Hell even Charles Johnson even though he has made a fortune playing for terrible Panthers teams. It is just sad This organization has squandered away some of the best years of some of this franchises greatest players. When Steve Smith was let go I hoped he would go to a team with a chance to win a ring and get a shot at the HOF. It just saddens me that after a 17-2 season this is what we all have to witness.Ā

To guys like Thomas Davis who I believe should have a statue out in front of Bank of America Stadium, I am sorry you have to go through a fuging disaster of a season like this. Same goes to all of the Fans who spend their hard earned money on this team. We all deserve better and it starts at the top. None of us deserve to get poo on like this after the blessing that was the 2015 season.

Sorry I am not even angry anymore just utterly depressed. This season fuging sucks.

    • I mean I think its a bit disingenuous to call basically anyone here a casual fan. I don't think the casual fan creates a profile then logs into it, in the offseason, to comments on mundane offseason topics.. I dont think anyone on here would be considered a casual fan. That said, I get your point. My POV is from the player. They sign this contract, move their family because of these contracts. When Clowney came him, we basically had a coming home party for him.Ā  So yeah, I get why we did it and I know that ultimately the owner doesnt 'save' money, but I can feel for the human side of the player, which is why I want them to get all they can while they can.Ā
    • My guess is the NBA will either send Flagg back ā€œhomeā€ to the Northeast in Brooklyn or Washington, or San Antonio so that they can keep building around Wemby. If I was a betting man I would take the odds on the Spurs. This definitely feels like a #1 pick that they will rig.
    • In fairness, she is ensuring she is talked about. Ā People really aren’t going out there way to bring her up. Ā It’s some weird poo. Ā She would end up getting talked about given her actions if she was 40. Bill realizing some of these high end ā€œcompanionsā€ got a game of their own. Ā That’s what I don’t think Bill saw coming.
