The same Huddlers that defended Dave as he proceeded to let our all-pro CB go for nothing...only to then scramble/panic by drafting CB, after CB, after CB to replace said all-pro CB...

Is of course now acting like Dave did nothing wrong and the problem lies with those that dare question our great GM.

The Panthers have needed OL help since Newton got here. After being utterly exposed in the SB one would think our brillant GM would shore up an obvious area of weakness...nope instead he gets into a pissing match with Norman...and for the 6th year Cam Newton fails to get any meaningful upgrade in protection/offensive help.

Interestedly these are often the same moronic posters that like to blame Newton.

So Norwell, Turner, Williams, and Oher didn't at least try and help elevate from Nate, Byron Bell, and co.?

Not to mention have some depth with getting Gino this offseason and having Remmers as depth?

But obviously everyone still wants Byron Bell starting

Understand we only had one starting oline men at his natural position out there today agaisnt Oakland.

One.

Also the same posters who would stress to the whole board Gettleman doesn't draft for need, when you draft for need you get in trouble. Welp...he drafted for need when he selected 3 corners lol

I got nothing... if you are holding out on Norman because you are worried about Mike Remmers, Ginn Jr, and Philly Brown becoming free agents... this is team in trouble. I actually think Philly Brown is very good receiver and Ginn is underrated. But come on...

Again, with this moronic stance about free agency not doing anything as far winning.

THE TEAM THAT BEAT US IN THE SUPERBOWL WAS LAUGH AT BY THIS VERY BOARD FOR BEING EXTREMELY ACTIVE IN FREE AGENCY THE YEAR AFTER GETTING TO THE SUPERBOWL.

There is more than one way to win in the NFL. Acquiring talent and not creating more areas of weakness because you want to save some cap space is one of them.

Charles Johnson, Mario Addison, Andrew Norwell, Kawann Short...

Lots of guys wanting checks with decent production

There's a lot of areas of weakness that would need addressing by losing cornerstones at DE, DT, WR, OG with the free agents of 2017

I am holding out because instead of either keeping Norman and fixing our OL/offense with all the draft picks he spent trying to fix a hole he created...or at the very least...trading Norman and getting pieces in return...

Our unquestioned leader decides it best to release Norman for nothing while--once again---ignoring our OL, which is getting our MVP killed.

The Panthers literally wasted Newton's rookie wage scale by refusing to draft/sign players that could take some pressure of him.
