Secondary needs to come up big tonight

I was just scrolling though the ESPNDALLAS chat today and when Patrick Crayton was asked what he thought about the panthers D he responded...

"Love it. I think we're going to have a few opportunities to make some plays this week. Looking at the film, we're going to have some plays down the field and run after the catch."

No respect whatsoever!

can't blame him. that is a the reality of it......teams licked there chops last year with this same group. Nothing has changed.....

I honestly believe Captain should move out of nickel....Gamble is the most overrated CB in the NFL. How he earned that paycheck based on the games he played I will never understand.

if they dont play this passive ass defense than we should be good. if not than homo and his slurpers will have a field day. witten and bennett are going to have a helleva game.hopefully we game planned tonight.the only person last week that was fired up was td lets hope the whole d is on the same page tonight.

the scheme is a passive one but I am not convinced that Gamble at least adds an extra degree of passiveness. At least Captain plays tough. I can handle his mistakes.....Gamble, now that teams are throwing at him again is back to playing timid and looking like the same old guy that is scared he is going to give up a play.......that he is giving them up.

    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
    • You play the Saints that is great news for your O line.
