Just gonna say, as someone still learning the game, thanks for this thread. Gave it a shot on my own without posting it, and was pleased in the end by coming reasonably close to what Bronn said.

(Side note, what are some good scouting videos to watch on the regular? Right now I only watch Waldman.)

You're on the right track with Waldman.. Cosell Wideman and Phil savage are good as well..

Next 2.

Boom Williams:
Hits the hole at near full speed. Another more upright runner with more than adequate contact anticipation and agility.
Not the greatest at picking up or chip blocking rushers, but primarily a between-the-tackles RB.
Good hands out of the backfield. Can contribute in the passing game.

Williams will be better suited for teams with a strong Center and Tackles that turn their feet well to seal the outsides, much like in pass protection. Not really a zone blocking type back, he's better suited to teams that commit to run play direction at the snap (IE designed shifts and gap pushes) and employ a Fullback, H-Back, or more of a ProSet approach that focuses on running first.

NFL Comparison: Giovani Bernard

Kareem Hunt:
Determined. He keeps his legs pumping well through contact, but he runs with a slight forward lean in addition to being upright.
Lowers his shoulder well, has a good stiff-arm, and has good ankles for being an upright runner. This allows him to break contact better than Boom Williams.
Cuts very well, and his ankle strength allows him to come out of cuts and accelerate very well.

Admittedly, this is the first tape I have watched on Hunt. He has the potential to be a sleeper pick. I don't know that he'll be an every down RB in the NFL just because his run style might make him more prone and impacted by knee injury. But if he is in split role situation or he assumes 3rd down back roles early on, he could develop into a starter. He appears equally as good inside or outside the tackles, and he catches with good technique. One other thing I would note is that his running style and the way he carries the ball would make me think he could have some ball security issues.

NFL Comparison: DeShaun Foster, or a less WR/slightly smaller version of Ty Montgomery
