Prove me wrong Beaux Berry. Prove me wrong.

End of Line.

How about you prove yourself right, since you are the one making such claims. Show me some statements from around the NFL that lead you to believe Richardson is a laughing stock. Provide me with the evidence that supports your theory that Richardson doesn't care about winning, that he's arrogant and uppity-nosed.

You're obviously a little emotional right now, and I get that. But don't let your thoughts of this team and coaching staff diminish what Richardson has done for this team.

End of Line.

Ok. Why hasnt he addressed any of the problems that is going on with this team?

Why didnt he step in and make the call for getting a better QB this year when there were better options?

Why does he back a coaching staff who HIDES BEHIND A SO SO QB WHICH IN FACT IS A FRONT FOR THEIR BAD PLAY CALLING? Which is why I think Hurney and the coach and his 2 sons gave Delhomme the 20 mill guaranteed to keep his mouth shut and save their jobs.

I could go on. But I wont.

End of Line.

JR is the one person in this organization who has the power to do something about this cascading pile of poo that they keep trotting out onto the field. This isn't a new thing that just happened. The Foxball style has been slowly eroding for a few years now. But, if you want to be myopic about it, let's just look at just this year.

We were horribly embarrassed in the one game that mattered last year in the playoffs. Not only that, but the Cardinals exposed the team for what it was. Not that we were a 12-4, Superbowl caliber team, but that we were a team that barely beat both the Lions and the Raiders last year.

We had an absolutely abysmal preseason. Play the vanilla card all you want...the team was not at all good, and it wasn't just because of game planning. They couldn't execute and they couldn't tackle. You don't need to game plan for those things, you need to play well.

We got embarrassed again on opening day, had a serviceable game two and looked positively miserable in many aspects of the game last night.

This is not a good team. They have not been a good team for a while, and no one has done anything about it. How long do you let it go before you put a stop to it? Fox will play Delhomme until the Earth opens up and swallows them both whole. It looks like JR will do the same with Fox. If JR isn't physically capable, then back off and let someone else make some executive decisions around there. This team is spiraling out of control. We like to say the panthers are our team, they really are JRs team. He is the one person who can step up and stop this mess, but he's just not doing it.

Ok. Why hasnt he addressed any of the problems that is going on with this team?

He has hired a new team president, and has begun making moves at the top of the chain, and will probably soon be going down to the bottom. He's been having heart trouble for the past few years, so I'm assuming his mind is slightly away from his team right now.

Why didnt he step in and make the call for getting a better QB this year when there were better options?

Because we had no money to use in the free agency? Julius Peppers left us with just enough breathing room. Some people don't seem to understand that this isn't baseball, and the Big Cat isn't one of the Steinbreners, he can't/won't just throw money at a problem to solve it.

We gave them a chance when they brought in a new OC...nothing changed. We gave them a chance when they brought in a new DC...nothing changed. New QB coach...nothing changed. No more waiting, no more excuses. We need to cut off the head of the serpent, and move on. This team will consistently be mediocre as long as Fox is here. He whipped them into shape 6 years ago, but the team has slowly gone downhill from there and the rest of the league has passed us by. Thanks for picking us up, but it's time to move on. It's JRs responsibility to do that, so it rests on his shoulders until he does.

    • I was checking out Chris Brazzell II measureables, and I thought they looked suspiciously familiar. Turns out it was true, almost identical measureables to former Panthers DJ Chark circa 2023. I even checked Terrace Marshall Jr results, and honestly isn't that far behind them.   I know this isn't unique for just our team, but we seem to specifically have an obsession with trying to make this tall lanky speedsters work for us. I admittedly wasn't that high on Brazzell, and when I watched the tape I didn't really see that 4.3 speed, and a strong wind seems to tackle him.   I really liked most of the draft, including getting Hecht in the 5th when I graded him as a #1 Center in this draft. I'm rooting for the guy to work out, especially since our HC and OC made their bones as Wide Receiver coaches. But Brazzell is the only one I'm kinda meh on. I was hoping we'd trade up to get Big Citrus, or if we went WR I liked Ted Hurst much better. We'll see though. 3rd rounders seem to be coin-flips for us (see DJ Johnson/Matt Corral). But I'm rooting for the guy and for this experiment to finally pay off.   I haven't seen anyone else post something about this, so just thought it was interesting and passing it along.   #keeppounding   -------------------------------------------------------------- AI Overview   Chris Brazzell II and D.J. Chark both possess nearly identical elite deep-threat profiles, highlighted by their tall, lanky builds and blazing sub-4.40 speed. Chark was slightly faster, while Brazzell offers a marginally heavier frame and longer wingspan. [1, 2, 3, 4] The side-by-side physical and athletic testing results from their respective NFL Scouting Combines outline their comparable profiles: [1] Metric [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] D.J. Chark (2018) Chris Brazzell II (2026) Height 6'3" 6'4" Weight 199 lbs 198 lbs Wingspan 78.5" 80.1" 40-Yard Dash 4.34 seconds 4.37 seconds 10-Yard Split ~1.50s (est.) 1.52 seconds Vertical Jump 40.0" 40.0" (pre-draft) Hand Size 9.25" 9.0" Analytical Comparison Size & Build: Both receivers offer an excellent catch radius with lanky, outside-threat frames. Brazzell holds a slight edge in height and an even more significant advantage in wingspan, giving him a massive target radius. Speed Profile: Chark famously recorded the fastest 40-yard dash time at his combine, while Brazzell was a standout at his event. Both times are elite for their size, translating directly to the "field-stretching" and vertical playmaking abilities that define their games. Draft Status: Chark was selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round (61st overall) of the 2018 Draft. Brazzell was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the third round (83rd overall) of the 2026 NFL Draft.
    • I still reserve my right to bitch about how incompetent the Panthers are at running a football organization and point to the mountains of evidence in support.
