Remmers wasn't nearly as bad as some of the people on this board made him out to be, they just needed a scapegoat to put the blame on the line woes last season and chose him.

He was playing as a backup out of position all year. He was never meant to be a LT and he himself is an average RT. We could have done far far worse than having him as our starter last year.

People forget that we literally took him off a practice squad and inserted him at RT and he did an admirable job up until the Super Bowl. He's miles better than Bell ever was.
