Curtis Samuel Is A Very Fast Guy

Benjamin is upfield after the catch in 5 seconds after the snap and Samuel is upfield after 6 seconds following the snap. Samuel cuts 3 seconds after the snap, has his head around 4 seconds after the snap, makes the catch 5 seconds after the snap, and is upfield 6 seconds after the snap. Benjamin cuts 2 seconds after the snap, has his head around 3 seconds after the snap, makes the catch 4 seconds after the snap, and is upfield 5 seconds after the snap.

The lesson is long striders with big bodies > shorter receivers with quick feet on short routes. Benjamin covers more ground in fewer steps than Samuel.

Benjamin has an additional  second added pre-snap to his clip. Samuel's clip starts with the snap.

Samuel better be fast because he is wasting time/movement with his dancing feet.

The clips tell me Samuel gives too much time to the DB to read him and make a play on the ball while KB sets the DB up with much less time to read and make a break on the ball. Typical over hype of a rookie.

maybe you're reading too much into one series of snaps on one day of OTAs in late May? Keep in mind how good Funchess looked during training camp last year . Lets see what he does in a seasons worth of NFL games before we start proclaiming "over hype" ..
