We can use both CAP & CMC at the sametime just need to phase out J-Stew 2 committee role

Yes Cap is still young and needs a shot while stew will be 31 next year and is shot Don’t think we need to draft another back as cmc and Cap can carry the load

I said back in training camp that I thought this would be the year JStew calls it a career. I didn't quite expect it to be a falling off a cliff event like it has been. The guy can still jump over a pile at the goal line, but that's about it. He just doesn't pop defenders anymore or break arm tackles.

It's as obvious to Rivera as it is to you and me. So the question is, why isn't CAP or even Fozzy getting some carries? Because they are both liabilities in the blocking game. They've kept CMC in at times to block. Think how bad it must be if you plan on keeping him in the backfield to try and slow down a charging D-lineman. The little guy is a gamer, but he's gonna get killed eventually. How bad at blocking do CAP and Fozzy have to be to make this the best choice?

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
