Two Games

I had to go to doctor today so I didn't go to work.I came home and was bored and decided to watch yesterdays game compared to same week game as last year.We had the bye later last season, but I still watched the week 5 game compared to yesterday. The biggest difference I saw on the offensive side of the ball, the o-line had penetration two to three yards up the field, and had linebackers blocked up and out of the way no matter how good either running back ran,or if they hit the right gap, seam,or it was a stretch play. The line had way more push than now.I can't understand how the same exact lineup could lose that push, but somehow they have

not that it matters, but it's not the exact same line.

the starting o-line that's playing now didn't get healthy until after the bye week last season.

No poo, this line is suppose to be our best, but it looked like two different lines all together with some of the same players in there

i've said it before, but i think i'm the only one who believes it.

it's not entirely the o-line, it's the defenses they're facing. no they're not the best in the league, but they are more disciplined than the ones carolina faced last season.

the eagles played kamikaze blitzkrieg and attacked everything while washington showed a lot of patience and waited for everything to come to them (the saints did this in the last game of last season and completely shut down a rushing attack that looked like the tampa bay mnf game). dallas does what it does best even tho it gets ugly at times. they will give up everything except the big play, letting the opposing offense move at will...then they slowly turn up the heat.

the only game where carolina's o-line was playing in last season's form was against atlanta...atlanta's run defense has always been suspect.

not to worry, they should look good against tampa bay next week.

the oline played better last year, why they are not playing at the same level I don't know, but they are not.maybe since they have been pass blocking so much they lost their edge

Well no wonder, we beat the f**k outta the Chiefs. Thats like noting how well we would look if we were the Saints playing the Raiders this year.

It doesn't really matter what game you compare,I just compared week to week cause it's easier with their software they use to make the videos.all the games last year, the line got more push, and looked a lot better

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
