I agree. I don't care about race or politics and don't want to hear about them. They're just negative subjects. There's a time and place and way to go about it, and 99% of the instances where they come up are inappropriate and do nothing but fuel whatever problems we have.

That is such a white thing to say... sit in your box and wait to be addressed. Don’t affect me or my personal life and free time   Everyone can’t afford the luxury of just avoiding a situation because it doesn’t effect them. And saying let’s not talk about it because it only makes it worse is just sweeping said problem under the rug.

I love the NFL more than anyone but if this is what’s nessesary for true equality and to make America what it has always said it should be then so be it.

and that's such a black person thing to say so it seems we're at a stalemate...which is agree to disagree aka don't talk about it or purposely bring up negative things we're not going to agree on.

It is a business. They want it to grow at 200% per year, but owners don't want to share the profits with communities. It is called greed.

Owners want communities to pay for their stadiums. They turn around and charge them massive $$$ back.

Owners want the players to beat each others to death. They lie that the sport causes health issues.

Owners want players to give up every thing to play the sports, but ignore the communities these players come from completely.

It is called greed. Our best athletes are getting smarter and their parents don't want them to waste their time at a sport that doesn't care about them.

If you had kids, why would you want them to play football? Why ?

Spoken like the voice of oppression you are. Don’t talk about racism and injustice and it will fix itself... how is that working after 400 years of the same?

And your sentiments are very helpful to the situation. Look, i have an opinion and I could go into more depth but I don't want to get into a discussion on race, they go nowhere. Its usually two people very passionate about their opinions asserting their opinion as though its fact and refusing to give any ground and then condemning the other person or making derogatory statements towards them like you did when they don't agree. I'm very empathetic to the struggles black people face and aware of them, however, I don't agree with the way people are going about fixing these problems and I don't agree with talking about them because of the facts i just named and they devolve into "such a white thing to say" immediately. How can we make any progress with that? A dialogue is between two people, not one.

Well when you say things like you said.. basically don’t talk about it and it will be fine don’t you think that rubs the people who have the problem the wrong way? If you see your brothers and sisters killed in cars hands raised before their kids and such and your answer to that problem is shut up don’t discuss it and it will be fine don’t you think that pisses people off?

Finding a proper forum that makes you comfortable is the least of concerns to the oppressed. Don’t talk about it during my sports? Dude we are dying.. I don’t care if u uncomfortable at home watching football. Until justice for all is justice for all why should you get to be comfortable when I can’t treated like a human being?

I didn't say that. There's a time and a place to talk make an issue of it, here isn't it, just like kneeling at football games isn't it.

I don't think we should really care one way or the other about the NFL losing it's audience.  We are talking about wealthy people losing or gaining money, most of the same background.  Why should any of us care about that?  Now, football has always been a gladiator sport.  Only now do we know it's having a negative impact on the players' brains.  This is a dying sport, and it is what it is.
