MVP's for the Bucs game

Obviously, our Defense is playing better. They only gave up 7 points. It WAS against the Bucs, however, so take it fwiw.

Having said that, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and give the MVP to DeAngelo Williams, with the Oline and J-Stew runners up.

MVP for the Bucs would have to be Jake Delhomme. I hate this, I really do, but he has NO confidence left. Our next drive, after his 8th interception of the year, a pick 6, we passed ONCE...for four yards. The rest was up the the running game, and they came through.

I get so ****** nervous when Jake drops back now. I used to get excited about it, but now I hold my breath. It's totally depressing. :(

Yep and that says that even the coaches do not have faith in him. If they did you would think he would get maybe 2-3 pass plays but no only 1. Fox knows that Jake is getting weak and he just showed it to everyone. The difference is that Fox can't hide it anymore. I'm sensing a QB change soon.

it won't happen....not until Jake losses two out of the next three game. Then Fox will go to Feely and then finally to Moore. Moore will show some promise in the last 2 or 3 games....leaving everyone wondering again (just like in 07) what could have happened if he got in earlier.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
