Looking like his play has fallen off in a year when he has a big cap figure makes for negative fan reaction. That really shouldn't surprise anybody.

Still the best option at center? Probably. But yeah, not what he used to be.

Played little in two years and announced his farewell tour while pulling down his salary 

all things end in time and some end badly 

Matt Kalil should have been given the choice to retire or be cut after the season ended

its a business, not a retirement home. 

Let him follow his passion in film more quickly
