Rhys Lloyd on his missed tackle

Are you Rhys Lloyd? I knew you can be lured into a stat spewing ramble about how the laws of physics relate to kicking a damn ball. Answer this question, if one player had to be released, who would it be? I know YOU wont say Rhys, because he kicks a line drive to the endzone, but is returned 30+ yds. You cant rely on football stats to prove a players importance to his team. Baseball stats are much more reliable, more than I can say about Rhysie Cups, trick or treat! Please stop spending time looking up Rhys Llyod stats and get a life! Maybe in your next post you can explain how pissing in the wind is a bad idea! By the way, hows your ankle?

Ummm, what?

Maybe I over estimated your intelligence. You aren't capable of making smart arse comments, you are simply not that bright.

If I were to cut one player it would be Hayden, the guy just is not ready for the NFL. Why we cutting anyone anyway?

You were the one who was calling for Llyods head, because he wasn't hitting the end zone every attempt, which simply was not true. No 'laws of physics' were brought into this, I was simply trying to broaden your horizon on why every kick is not a touchback. Why I bothered I am unsure of now.

Of course stats can't prove someones importance, but they damn well can point out some things. For instance the returners are getting huge returns YET Llyod actually gets decent hang time and often often you can see our gunners flying past the returner at or around the 20, they just cant secure the tackle.

Why are you so against the guy, when his touchbacks are one of the only reasons we have not given up more TDs on special teams???

You know when I see a Llyod thread I lure you in hook, line and sinker. Never seen a grown man research a KO specialist stats. If this loser was such a game changer, where has he been hiding? Ahh! NFL europe, the big time! He lived on the Ravens practice squad, however we have plenty of roster spots. Welcome aboard chump! I'll expect to see his latest stats when kicking at home. I'm sure you have the temp., wind direction and speed and have faxed it to "Little Bit" while you're at it send him "Tackling for Dummies" and he can practice on your candyass!

He brings Facts and you bring Opinion. That makes sense.

PS I would cut Sutton. Why we need a RB that will never see the light of day is beyond me.

Opinions? Well theres an idea, no body has ever expressed an opinion on this forum. The facts are 30+ Yds per KO and one returned for six while reece cups was injurying his frail ankle. Now thats a FACT jack!

Yeah your right most do use opinions but he didn't. You are trying to argue with opinions against fact. As soon as you do that you have lost the argument.

And the 30yd kick returners, as has been mentioned numerous times in this thread, are a product of poor special teams coverage. You need to read Mr. Scott's post. You are just looking for a scapegoat. I'll give you the one that is responsible his name Danny Crossman

What about the one returned for a TD against TB. The FACT is his hangtime isnt there! Thats the problem with this team now, facts and the fact of the matter is you are getting your ass kicked. And we're supposed to leave a couple of playmakers on the practice squad or inactive list, so soccer boy can play? I'll bet ya a bottle of crown, fancy pants wont be back next year.

If his hang time is not there, then why was the average much lower last year? The only thing that has changed is the special teams coverage unit.

Seeing as you have a phobia of facts, his average return last year was 22.2
