I agree man! I was alittle disappointed in the lost but I was proud of my team. We had it but couldn't hold on to it. We will see them again and the outcome will be different. We win next week and we get a bye. We can rest up the banged up guys and go from there. Guys, it is far from over! I know that people are upset about the lost but hey it happens, they are a great team. If history repeats itself, they don't want to see us in the playoffs.:)

    • He seems way more talented than Beck, I think Beck is destined to be a backup if not UFL in a couple years
    • https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/3456159/report-maple-leafs-hurricanes-among-teams-interested-in-hamilton The Toronto Maple Leafs and Carolina Hurricanes are among the teams with interest in New Jersey Devils defenseman Dougie Hamilton, reports The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun. However, it's believed that the Maple Leafs would only consider a trade if the Devils retained a significant portion of Hamilton's contract, LeBrun adds. Hamilton is signed for two more seasons after 2025-26 with a $9-million cap hit. He also has a 10-team trade list, but Hamilton's agent, J.P. Barry, said his client is willing to consider teams outside that list to help accommodate a move. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Someone needs to explain how this benefits the Canes in any way. Any weakness on Carolina's blue line is a result of RBA's inability to establish any pairings with Slavin not in the lineup.  Hamilton is far from physical and, in many respects, he's a younger version of Brent Burns. Not a physical intimidator in any way and a fairly mediocre D-man. The only draw may be his offense?  There are a few other priorities I would like to see addressed heading into the playoffs before bringing in a retread D-man.
    • I'll be honest with you, since they got into the NIL rules and quicker transfer portals, the quality of QBs coming out of college has sucked across the board. The ones who seem to do the best are the ones who sat a year or two on a bench, then had a year or two on the field under the same coaching staff, learning the game, how to manage and how to lead. Those guys are almost unheard of now.  I know college football was monetized decades ago, but when they just tore the lid off of it, they made a mess of the game. (And let's not even touch how they have screwed education...)/
