I am so happy.... this Loss today will signify the end of the .500 Fox regime and bite the bullet on Delhomme's contract and let him go as well.

Go jump on the Saints bandwagon then, I'm tired of Panther "fans" cheering for the team to lose. I don't care how bad Jake is, as long as he is the starting quarterback of the team I will cheer for him to succeed same for any position or coach on the team. I'm a Panthers fan I've been one since 1995 and will be one till the day I die. I've been through 1-15 and Superbowl XXXVIII. If you want to cheer for us to lose then why don't you just turn in your Panthers fan card and pick a new team please.

Its about the improvement of the team long term. This game probably is the wake up call Richardson needed for him to realize something needs to change. Give up that "Panthers fan card" crap that you speak of.

Its like taking your kids to get shots. You know it will hurt them in the short run but over time it will save them.

I think it sucks ass that we lost. But at least now Fox is basically forced to bench Jake. At least it wasn't one of those bullshit Jake performances where our running game pulls a win out of their ass. The problem is now in plain sight to every one. ( It has been for a few weeks but today Jake blew up in Fox's face)

I'm all for improving the team but you can evaluate in a win just as well as a loss. Had we won the game the stats would still show that Jake had a poor game or that the coaching staff had him attempt 42 passes against the worst rush defense in the league. I'm sorry but I guarantee you you wouldn't find a Steelers fan who cheered for the team to lose during rough times. Part of being a fan is you support them through not only the good but the bad as well. Sorry you don't like my Panthers fan card statement but seriously if your just going to start cheering for the team to fail during adversity then why not just cheer for whoever the hot team is every year. I'm not saying we aren't bad, because we are a terrible "team" right now but that doesn't mean that every Sunday I won't continue to cheer for a Panthers victory, isn't that truly what being a fan is about. Or do people really think that being a fan means that you turn on them when things are going bad.

Sorry, Richardson played the game. If it took him this long then he's suffering from dementia.

Agreed, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to assess that we are a bad team. Even in the games we have won we have still looked very poor. I'm sure Richardson notices this and it will be dealt with in the offseason.

I want them to win, but with Delhomme playing poorly as he did today, if we some how won cause of our running game, you know Fox would say "A win is a win and Jake will still be our guy." No way Fox says what he did after the game if we had won. Also, Richardson would just see it as we won 3 in a row despite how poor Delhomme played and how Fox abandoned the run game. Now there's no excuses. Fox can't hide behind a win to excuse Delhomme's performance. Richardson can't hide behind a win to excuse Fox's ignorance.

How do you know what Richardson would see, Richardson is the one paying these players you don't think he wants them to perform at a high level. Like I said win lose or draw the stats can't lie and the tape cant lie and Jake played poor and the coaching staff made poor decisions. There have been plenty of coaches let go after winning or .500 seasons because of the assessment of the team compared to their expectations. Richardson expected the team to get to the playoffs, this year they won't usually its because of injuries but this year you can only blame it on poor QB play and poor coaching including the decision to start said QB. I really don't understand why it would be hard to evaluate that whether we win or not.
