All the new hires this year  IMO seemed rushed and questionable.

Yeah, I'd have to say that so far most of the new coaching hires have given me a "wait ,what" kind of feeling.

It's not that I think there aren't strong candidates. I'm just scratching my head at why these teams are picking some of the guys they're picking

The Dolphins have been said to be leaning toward Cowboys DB coach Kris Richard.

There are still rumors that the Bengals will end up hiring Hue Jackson.

(I'm still trying to figure out what the city of Cincinnati did to deserve this)

On the hiring of Adam Gase in New York, word is that a phone call from Peyton Manning lobbying for him to get the job is what led to the decision.

Being reported that Mike McCarthy really wanted the Jets job. Wasn't quite as interested in anywhere else.

He's not of the running for any of the remaining jobs. Word is he plans to take a year off and try again next year.
