So, we're the 3rd or 4th crappiest team?

The team is not crappy, the O line, D, running backs, Steve Smith and a few others are playing very well, its Jake aka pick 6, special teams and some of the coaches that are crappy.

have some good apples, but enough bad apples to spoil this whole bunch into crap..

Well said!

I know it's still too early in the season to call it a bust, but we aren't far away. One more example of today's kind of play and I just assume putting a bunch of young 2nd and 3rd stringers in to get them some real experience and hope we lose enough games for the first overall or at least a nice high draft pick. But mainly I say (and I know I'm :beatdeadhorse5:) go ahead and get MM in at QB and let the wolves have their way with him, no matter how ugly it may get. I think it's worth the chance that perhaps he may bring a needed spark to the offense.

What's really sad though is the above could probably fit into a number of other threads here...

A top ten defense coupled with a top ten offense minus a bottom ten coaching staff and a bottom ten quarterback will loose you more games that it wins.

Let's face it here: a strategic coach vs. a conservative coach would have won these games. An accurate qb vs. an inaccurate qb would have won these games.

We are legitimately two staff moves away from a damn good team.

Too bad we don't have a first round pick next year.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
