Yeah I will fess up to thinking this as well. So far he’s been solid but not world beating. Think this is both him and DJ at this point.

No WR is going to shine in this offense built around CMC. Why can't anyone realize that simple fact.

Meh. I don't need them to be stars and I'm also not particularly rooting for our offense to built around this concept of a WR1. Atlanta has arguably the best WR in the game atm. Ask them how that's working out for them. More importantly, when you look at the list of Super Bowl champs over the last decade, tell me which one of them had a dominant WR the offense was built around feeding.

So I'm not looking for eye popping numbers from Moore and Samuel, just a tad more consistency getting open to help our their qb, and not dropping the ball when it's well thrown. Both are doing a solid job imo, but there is room for improvement without majorly shifting the focus of the offense.

So, if there’s a top tier talent I say FS is the way to go. If not a receiver could really help. The OL looked a little serviceable tonight but they could do better with running lanes. A power RB in the 3rd might not be a bad idea if they’d actually rotate CMC out.

Thank god you aren't drafting for this team.

    • I agree.  I don’t think I have ever been accused of being a Howell fan. No more than fan of some other random QB.   But I watched and I saw. He has some talent. Maybe I didn’t watch close enough to see his weaknesses.
    • He is a pit bull when it comes to that.  And after he missed out last year on Williams, it seems he is trying a different approach, looks like. Don’t hold back. No half measures, because someone will come and full measure your ass. Close the deal. He left a little opening for The Patriots last year.  He closed so far this year. Of what we know about.
    • They have been doing the mercenary one year RB now for a little while. Foreman..  It works pretty well. You can find ball carriers. The passing game trips a lot of those guys up. Pass blocking, route running, they have a lot to know.    Rico wasn’t a great pass blocker but he got in the way most of the time. He is a really good pass catcher.     He’s tough. Needs to find out why he was cramping late in the games. If he can fix that maybe can step up even more. Wish him luck. I think he’ll do well.    If Brooks can be something, what a bonus that would be at this point.  I really believe they went for him because of his extra layer with being a good receiver. And we need more of that with what we are working with trying to move the ball.
