Heck, I had never heard of Marks until a few weeks ago.  I remember back around 99 or 2000 when I started really following the team closely as I began to have regular internet access and normal schedule. The local coverage at the time was infinitely better than now.

I don't do Twitter and that's all these people spend their energy on now. The Athletic looks legit and I might get around to it.  I used to go to the Rock Hill Herald, Gaston Gazette, Observer and even Winston Salem Journal to get decently thoughtful coverage of camp, etc. Now they spend their time tweeting about individual catches, interceptions, etc.

Get off my lawn

I will say one thing with regard to the sources that I trust vs yours though.

Mine exist.

Do they?  Who are they?  Please list your top-5.

Question, where do you believe Cam Newton will be playing football next year?

i'm glad that guy owns the team and not me.  he gets in a crappy mood and doesn't fire everyone all willy nilly.     i would. i'd fire them,  buy their houses and then burn them to the ground and put up memorials to mediocrity in their names.   and then tuesday realize we need a coach for the week

The answer is simple. Hurney and Rivera should be gone. Not having back to back winning seasons is fuging mind blowing. He should clean house entirely to get the stink out for sure.

And I would add not having back to back winning seasons with players e.g. Cam Newton, Luke Keuchly, Greg Olsen, etc. But yes, Tepper needs to clean out the last vestiges of Richardson's regime.

With us clearly needing a rebuild next year I can't blame him for not wanting to comment on job security. Newton on the other hand I would imagine is still up in the air. If he wants to take a friendly deal knowing we are rebuilding why not keep him around. If not no big deal we are rebuilding and are not looking at super bowls. Either way I just don't see how you stick with a coach or GM that can't even beat our division Oppents.

I have been saying for some time on this board that next years Panthers may look a LOT different than the last few years....

I'm starting to think about who is a lock to be here next year, and I'm not really liking where my brain is going.
