I think we land middle of the pack, what are the Cbs looking like next year at the top of the draft?

Patrick Surtain is probably the top corner. Haven’t watch much of him so don’t know much other than that his dad was a stud. Then you got  Shaun Wade, Paulson Adebo, Deommodore Lenoir, Elijah Molden and Caleb Farley a Maiden High product!!!!!!! Go blue devils

I would agree with you if we had an easier schedule, but frankly it's pretty brutal this year.

I don't think we survive, even if we look good at executing, the season with incredibly thin depth all over.

I honestly think 5 or 6 wins is our ceiling. Depending on Short being resigned or not, and the FA market I think our pick is going to be OT, DT, QB, or CB.

Even with 5 or 6 wins I think we are going to have to pay any LTs we get in the future unless they are already on the roster. Cb is a spot we truly don't have a solid 1 at like Bradberry and the rest of the draft I see being for depth at various positions and maybe a C in the 2nd depending on how things fall.

So good depth then and we should land a starter in the 1st? I think we need a CB, Center, and guard, then lots of depth picks.

Oh Okung would have to be resigned, and stay healthy. I could see it going that way if so.

You want a corner in the 1st? I’m not taking anyone next year other than Trevor, Fields or Lance.

Hint, they most likely won't be there.

I hate the idea of resting all our hopes and dreams on signing a certain player or position.

I think it's really important to understand your options and who you'll realistically have a chance at where you're picking.

In this year's draft I really loved Brown and Simmons. However, I realized that Okudah could be the pick and was ready to accept that as a good consolation prize if Brown and Simmons were off the board. If not them I was okay with one of the tackles.

The last guy I would have been okay with outside of that was Tua. I railed against picking him pre-draft, not because I didn't think he was good, but because of his injury history. I think he's got a good ceiling and even a decent floor in the NFL if he can just stay healthy. I just didn't want us to end up with Cam Newton 2.0, once again behind an offensive line made of bubble gum and scotch tape. Besides that he would be out there a lot given our defensive line situation. I mean, it was so bad my grandpa could have ran up the middle at 86, with my grandma lead blocking at 81.

This draft is still too far out for me to have an idea what our range of players is going to be. I think you want to be 1 to 3 for Field's and Lawrence, and after that it's all chalk at this point.

I would love Lawrence or Fields learning the ropes of the NFL from Teddy. I'd have to change pants if we made that pick, and I love my guy Teddy.

Only other guy I would want outside of the three QBs is Chase.
