We arguably have the weakest roster in the league (especially with CMC hurt) outside of the Jets and maybe Jags. We have started Chinn, Brown, YGM, Franklin, and Pride in several games who are all rookies on defense. I love the optimism and all, but expecting over 5 wins this season was unrealistic. Several journalists had us finishing last. To have 4 wins and many additional losses decided by a score or less is pretty remarkable. This team hung around the Chiefs until the end. Our future is bright. If we can get the right QB we are going to make a run soon.

Anyone expecting a quick turnaround wasn't paying attention to the reality of the situation and Rhule's history.  I'm encouraged by the fact that we've been competitive in virtually every game. I'll start to get concerned if we don't see a significant step forward next season. Like I said, I'm expecting .500-ish. Somewhere in that 7-9 to 9-7 range.

Agreed and it depends on if we draft and or play a rookie QB early. I expect there to be a learning curve/growing pains with a young signal caller.
