Soccer, unlike most sports has a lot of leaked rumors and as we saw with the whole Riley McGree debacle from where he was all but sold to Celtic FC before Middlesbrough stepped in, some rumors come true… and some don’t.

Charlotte FC being linked to Paul Arriola.

I don’t particularly like this… Arriola has been a solid MLS player but at this point he is what he is… a solid winger that you can build around but he needs to be surrounded by really good players.

There’s absolutely no reason to give up a record amount of GAM for him.

Charlotte FC has just submitted a new record bid for Paul Arriola.

Arriola is off to Dallas so that rumor did not come to fruition.

Here is an interesting one…

 

Charlotte FC is reportedly interested in the Romero twins.

The Romero twins are part of the Paraguayan National Team and are rated very highly… there is some smoke around them in that they are not very good teammates… Oscar Romero notoriously broke a teammates foot in a training session… it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.
