The hyperbole is amusing but ultimately nobody cares about press conferences. The Texans seem to be a fairly well ran organization with a solid coaching staff. If they're smart they'll buy low on Stroud and keep a backup plan. The rest of the roster around the QB is plenty capable. And as the playoff picture has shown this past year it doesn't take much to get into the dance for them. Remember when folks here were clowning them for having 2 wins early in the season? They still won another playoff game while we're still trying to get over the hump. As far as playoff meltdowns go. Sam Darnold had a meltdown against the Rams in the playoffs as the Vikings QB a year ago and most of us laughed our asses off at him and now he's a game away from the Super Bowl with the Seahawks while the Vikings sunk back to joke status. It's an unpredictable league. -

Has had issues with professionalism and hasn’t been good when on the field. Still, he was a high second round pick and has 2 years left on his rookie deal. Still, Pegula basically tanked any trade value he could have had, even though it’s probably not much. Keep in mind that Dan Morgan got a 4th rounder for Jonathan Mingo who was far worse on the field - I doubt they’d get anywhere close to that value now if they planned on getting rid of him.
