53 yards in the rain from our kicker who doesnt have the power of his younger days = beyond dumb. It was a 15 or 20% shot at best -- basically guaranteeing Brady a short field at that point in the game. That was not smart football.

Fox must go. I can hardly wait the 3 weeks we'll probably have to wait before seeing him get the pink slip.

Yea it was a dumb call. I also thought Fox should have gone for it on that 4th and 4. The 4th down where we got those 2 bullshit procedure penalties.

dumb dumb dumb. you have a kickoff specialist who can put it through the uprights from 70 yards out and you give that to a 65 year old kicker in wet frigid conditions? lol. awesome.

Lloyd doesnt kick field goals, and theres likely a good reason for that as he has never gotten the opportunity(he was poor at it in college, chances are he hasnt improved).

I still say the team screwed the pooch not drafting Mason Crosby a few years ago.

When was the last time Fox went for it on 4th down that was more than 1 yard? The guy just plays not to lose.

Considring we were not getting anywhere with our offence. With a great kicker, and a defence who was holding them scorless, I don't see the big problem. We nneded all the points we could get.

No, no, no... we shouldn't have went for it either... we should have pooch punted the ball. Fox always preaches field position and this time he chose a low percentage FG in bad conditions. I don't get it? I've blasted him in the past for being too conservative and I still think he usually is, but this was just out and out a dumb decision.
