well, it looks like the day is just going to get better--Romo chokes another game away. Say what you will about Jake, he may be inconsistent to put it nicely, but when push comes to shove, i'd trust him to come through in the end as much as any other qb in the game.

You sound like John Fox.

There should be NO FREAKING OPTIONS.

Win tomorrow OR GO HOME. That's what they should be thinking.

This ignorant "WELL, IF...IF...IF..." crap that Fox preaches works well AFTER LOSES, but before big games, it creates complacency.

Take care of business.

Why thank you. I take that as a compliment. Fox is a smart guy and a good coach.

Only problem is the other guy comes to play too and that pointy ball bounces funny sometimes.

At the very least I hope we put enough pain on the Bucs win or lose that Atlanta can kick there butts next week.

    • I generally disagree with the concept of picking a position because of value early in the draft. For instance, if there's a really good safety, RB or ILB at pick 10, I'm choosing him over a project WR or DE. Better players make the team better. A bunch of ok players will give you an ok team. The number 1 goal of the draft should be to improve the overall talent on the team. Not to fill positions of need.  Deciding beforehand that you're picking a LT in the first or second round because Ickey went down is not the way to improve the team. Now if Dan has similar grades on 2 or 3 players and one happens to be a LT, then yeah go for it. But don't pass on your guy at ILB because you have a gap at LT or need to improve the pass rush with a DE. When those guys don't pan out then you haven't improved your team. But that LB could have been a franchise cornerstone for years to come. See Luke Kuechly and Christian McCaffrey.
    • Thank God we are inthe NFC South--
    • When Sanders was named as an alternate, I was all like, "That's a big ol bowl of NOPE."   In my view, they would be better off showing a documentary on the 32 "man of the year" candidates to show what they do for charities etc.
