As much as I hate to say it, I think Fox saved his job last night

Where did that come from? The team was fired up. The Defense was on fire, the o-line blocked, and Matt Moore played his best game of the year. (QB rating is now 88, over 30 better than Jake). Not to mention this was a nationally televised game. My main criticism is, why were you too stubborn, took keep Moore on the bench. But none to less, you get the blame for the losses, but you also get some credit for the win. hats off to the Panthers, and to Fox. But its not over, if he can get this team to 8-8 and LEAVE MATT MOORE IN. I will be fine to see Fox in Charlotte in 2010

We have seen that team play many games this season.....only problem was Jake put them behind the 8 ball. To me, last night works against Fox......showed what his blind faith in Jake did to this season.

I said that. But Im going against what I think, and probably want, and going with what I think JR will do. Wins on national TV mean alot. especially when it comes to next season. This game looks good on Fox's resume. Would I prefer to see someone different next season, yes. Do I think it will happen now, no.

You don't judge a coach by one big/emotional win. That is garbage if that is how you run your organization and you shouldn't be allowed to own a franchise if that is how you are doing business.

Fox essentially WASTED this season and he WASTED 40 million bucks on Jake Delhomme when he had an equally competent QB on the bench for a fraction of the price.

If we can get new blood in here with Cowher then we need to do it. John Fox brings NOTHING to the table that Bill Cowher wouldn't bring as well...plus more.

I'm hoping whatever the case, clear minds make great decisions in the coming months and years.. I want to see my team compete with the top of league like they have done and can do, but haven't done...

I can see how Fox (perhaps more, Davidson) have been limited with bad QB play, but I can also see Fox needing replaced.. All any of us can do is speculate on which that is.. regardless of which that is, I'm hoping to see better results..

Wins on national television don't mean crap if you are a crappy team. Do you think anyone outside of the Carolinas and Minnesota gave a crap that we just won that game?? Maybe NO fans b/c it helps home field advantage for them.

I watched 1st and 10 this morning...the only thing they mentioned about our game last night was that Brett Favre and Brad Childress had an argument on the sidelines. Face it...we are a small market team with a 6-8 record. We don't get much pub when we are good and we get NO PUB when we are bad.

If Jerry Richardson wants to make money he will do what is right and will bring in Bill Cowher to run this organization. It will be instant pub, instant money from ticket sales, and IMO instant wins...Its a no lose situation.

    • Taking only players from the sheet that are realistically available in or after the listed round, I’d like… 1st: DT Caleb Banks (Styles not realistic) 2nd: LB Jacob Rodriguez 3rd: OT Best available from Bowry, Barber, and Casey 4th: CB Daylen Everette 5th: S Jalen Huskey 6th: RB Adam Randall 7th: IOL Best available from Lemieux, Dawkins, Leausa, and Brose   I know nothing about some of the players listed, but it seems like that would be the best way it could fall for now. I’m sure the list of who we meet will change a ton, and there will also be players we don’t meet with to keep quiet. I’d love to pick up Randall in the late rounds.
    • Not what I said. They know within the building why we aren't utilizing TEs more. If the rumors were true that we were seriously pursuing a couple of decent receiving TEs that strongly points toward a lack of quality receiving TEs currently on the roster. Does that mean we consider drafting one at 19? I don't know, but it wouldn't shock me and if we did there's only one guy it would be. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see TE drafting somewhere in the first three rounds.
    • Yeah, I don’t know. Tepper was behind the Bryce selection. Behind firings and hiring over his lack of development.  He doesn’t have to literally tell them their hands are tied for them to know this. It is in the air constantly. The Canales Bryce play calling was even portrayed by more than one person as Canales failing Bryce, instead of Bryce being responsible for his own performance (except when he does well, then it is all him). Now they have an extra coach in, to help the new OC get results from this QB.  The atmosphere is not welcoming to prototypical young QBs that have talent. You get Jake Plummer types or old vets. I think we are stuck.
