Again the only thing that made that formation outstanding was Peppers playing out of his mind in that game (yes, others played well, but Pep caused the true disruption). Otherwise it's just better than average.

Y'all put waaaaaaaaaay too much into schemes and coaching.

Really your right. Take away Peppers performance and we are getting torched on D. Only if he would play lights out like that all the time. Really he has given us more reason to get a high motor guy now then ever.

You guys need to pay more attention if you think Peppers is the only reason our defense played well.

When you rush 3, you're expecting the secondary to make a play. It just so happens that the Viking OTs are terrible a pass blocking, or they were when it came to Peppers and Brown. Favre was out of rhythm for most of the game, so it made sense to rush 3. Had Favre heated up, I think we would have seen more 4 man rush and blitzes.
