Will any FAs WRs even come to Carolina?

These WR's also know that we are a run-first offense - to be second fiddle to Smitty, someone will need to be humble and accept that and check their ego at the door. I like Antonio Bryant, that guy can catch anything, but he seems to have the ego problem.

I would like Brandon Marshall too but he is a loose cannon we don't need. He is a child in a mans body. Do you think he is going to enjoy being second fiddle to Steve Smith.

Go Panthers

Hate to break this to you but Steve Smith probably isn't a #1 anymore, especially if a guy like Marshall came here.

personally i would rather keep moose, draft a guy like benn, decker, or briscoe, and see what ginn jr would cost in a trade. reason i want ginn jr: slot receiver with return skills. at one time he was on the block, and i would to use him as a slot reciever.

also if teams focus more on production this year when making offers, antonio bryant is a real possibility. he has had qb issues for atleast 1/2 the year but when he had garcia and gruden he was great in 08. he would be a nice #2 or even 1b when he has a qb that can get the ball to him. he might not get a big contract either as he has only had that 1 stellar year in 2008 and was out of the nfl in 07 and has only had 2 seasons over 60 catches. bryant also may not mind getting pressure taken off with smith here, and he may take a short deal to improve his stock.

i would love to also find a slot guy either in the draft or via trade. we could see if dextar jackson can be that guy, or look for a trade. personally i would want to see what ginn jr would cost, as i thought there were rumors that parsel's was looking to trade him before the season. idk what the would want now (he is a very very good returner and a great guy in space). if used right he could be welker/harvin light. he has the quicks to be special in space and on weaker corners.

those wanting ron curry, we could have picked him up whenever he was cut by stl. that should say enough.

if we wiff on bryant, floyd and walters, i would then beg moose to come back, or pray that we hit the lottery in round 2 and find a #2 as a rookie (plausible). personally i wouldnt cut jarrett just yet, he isnt cant catch colbert or cant catch carter. now he does have issues getting seperation, but that was assumed to be moose's problem before moore. a qb that can fit it in a small window could help make jarrett a viable option if he can catch anything thrown to him. same with moore, no reason at this point to not bring him back for training camp.

oh and 1 other possibility, TO. yes TO. he is better than moose, been quiet and if we could lock pep up, he might see the team as capable on defense. also, unlike key, smitty and TO could coexsist, as smitty is open to being #1b if that ment getting a guy like TO. TO is still a phreak, but in a horrible situation in buff. if moore stays as qb, he might see that as enough to make us a contender with smitty as the other WR and the rest we have on offense.
