Wow, after getting screwed out of seeing Bobcats game in their first couple seasons, this is bad news. I've seen every Bobcats game that they've shown on TV except 2 or 3 so far and I'm going to the Magic game on Jan 23rd courtside seats.

This will be a huge blow to me if this happens.

According to wikipedia Fox Sports South will not be affected, but Sportssouth which is scheduled to show 20 more games this season (and possibly playoff games) will be affected.

FIRST: Time Warner is the DEVIL!! I hate them so much when they called me I told them that on their survey.

Second: It will more then likely get taken care of hours before the Jan 1st deadline.

In this situation I like Time Warner. The broadcasting companies are raising the rates and TWC does not want to let them raise them as much as they are asking. If they just bent over and paid the additional fees, it'd be passed along to us consumers and then you'd be bitching that TWC was raising their cable rates.

Nope, I don't have TWC anymore. They are the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I will say also that the myth it would raise your TWC bill is a scare tactic used by TWC. Have you not noticed TWC has raised there rates over 20% in the last 4 years??

Nope. I pay 90 dollars a month for digital cable with 2 boxes and road runner. I paid 98 dollars a month 3 years ago. When I last moved I priced everyone out and nobody else was cheaper than TWC for what I was looking for. Everyone else charges you more for local channels and high definition channels. TW came out to be about 10 dollars per month cheaper than the next best option which was UVerse.

Mr. T, That's a great deal. I had a very different experience with TWC. I really think it depends on where you live. I had TWC for over 10 years with no problems before moving and then after moving it was TWC from Hell. I was also told after paying the bundle price for 10 years it was going to be MUCH HIGHER for same services. During the 45 days I had TWC here I had only one item in the "Bundle Package" working correctly. Only two days did all three work correctly all at once. Needless to say they got to know my house very well. Then after I had them repair a High Speed Roadrunner Line. the TWC rep cut the lines to my Direct TV Dish at the DISH. I was REALLY MAD. TWC apologized for it and supposedly fired the guy. They asked me to come in to there district office and talked with me about it.

Yeah $2 last year, and $2 next. Soon I will have only the basic tier. Of the 77 channels they offer here in Winston I might watch 25, so I really won't be missing much. But at least I will catch up on my reading.

You'll lose all your HD channels (except the locals). I guess that only matters though if you care about watching in HD.

Anyway, my bills would be higher if I ever let the promotions run out, but generally if you tell them to shut down your account because you're switching to a cheaper provider, they'll just renew your promotion.
