Can anyone give me some basic direction, on getting to the tailgate, from the light rail station. I will either get off at the arena stop, or the one before it, the name has slipped my mind of that stop.

LIAG (Life is a Garden) had a very good map with the spot marked exactly. Send her a pm asking for it. Oh, and get off at the 3rd St station

edit - just talked to LIAG via pm and she's putting the map in this thread - just keep reading if you need a map. When she puts it in here, I'll edit this post again with the post number.

Thanks!

Third St. station at the Hilton.

Walk 2 blocks up 3rd. the next block is the parking lot of the tailgate. Keep walking down third passed Picaso's. Once you get to the car entrance, walk in turn rt. There's the Huddle tailgate. You should see a Huddle and/or Toys for Tots Flag.

So what goes down at the tailgate? I've been wanting to come to the Huddle tailgates for a long time. But I am not good at the whole social event type of thing. I wouldn't know anybody there, so it would be a bit awkward at first.

Great food...alot of beer...music from the people beside us. All in all, just a great group of people having a fun time.

Do not worry about not know ing people. We are accustomed to new people at every tailgate. Introduce yourself and you will be welcomed immediately.

Cyclonus, If my experience is worth anything, you would have NO problemo... Mush made me feel very welcome and it didn't take long for me to meet people. And trust me, you need to taste some of that Q!! Good folks, just put a few $$ in the can if you got it to spare. And those turds are HOT, spicy..... really good.

Do a poll of huddle tailgaters and I'd bet most of them wants that music turned down. It's so loud you can't hear the person standing right next to you talk unless you shout.

It is way too loud. You can hear it at the top of the parking lot. He doesn't need to supply the entire block with music.

    • We need a Sam Off Ball Backer to pair with Lloyd. Lloyd is a strong Interior Will especially in Pass Coverage- but that is also Trevin Wallace’s archetype. Need a Rozeboom style run stopper. Rodriguez and Allen fit that
    • There aren’t that many ways to screw Day 2 up.  That’d be them making an obvious reach, or selecting at one of the few positions that we are pretty solid at. Because as excited as we are for the growth and improvement this team is showing, it’s still not an overly talented or deep roster. Honestly, there aren’t really many positions I’d feel bad about. Feelings about Bryce aside (because we are not going to select a QB), it’s really RB (bad positional value) and that’s it. I guess OT too since we grabbed Freeling in Round 1.    While not as high on my wish list as other spots, you can justify WR or TE.     Interior offensive lineman who would likely take over an interior spot either this year (at center) or guard (next for cap casualty of Hunt or Lewis)? Fine by me.   Dlineman? Yes, that’s a highly rotational position and we have zero quality depth.    ILB? Yep, could stand for an upgrade over Wallace.    EDGE? Absolutely wouldn’t hate another option to spell Phillips, Scourton, and Princely.    FS?  Would love to add better coverage skill set to the backend of the defense. Moehrig and Ransom are great in run support but not as good deep. Adding a more traditional FS would allow us to mix and match/run some 3 safety sub packages and or a big nickel type look with a SS down near the line for better run support in possible pass downs.    CB? Could stand to get better at nickel.
    • Sounds like Veesaar is entering the draft. He could always test the waters and pull out and return but without him our big men look like a serious liability. Better do something in the portal. If they don't do something about this portal madness my days as a college sports fan are probably numbered. This bullshit of having a nearly entirely new team every season is gonna get old fast.
