Game 32: Knicks vs. Bobcats

After Saturday night's tough loss at home to New Jersey I wanna see our backcourt step up and have a better game at home tonight. Larry Brown played PG himself, so I know he's very demanding when it comes to PG play. Our guys need to bounce back against this Knicks team thats in a big slump right now. They're a high scoring bunch but dont defend well, so we should be able to win if we defend well. GO BOBCATS!

I think they will end up with a +.500 record.

That is still possible ya ?

Its still possible. We're gonna miss Raja Bell. He's a very good outside shooter, defender, and plays with a high IQ. Having Diaw has given us a good ball handler around the paint. His passing ability has helped spread the floor for us. We just need somebody in the backcourt to really step it up and shoot a good percentage every night.

The Bobs lost this game because of Felton's continued poor play. 5 of 17 shooting, 2 missed shots in the last minute. If I were the GM of this team, I would put Felton up for any desired player. If in one week, no good offers, for a first round pick. If within another week, no good offers, a second round pick. Still nothing... I would cut his ass. He is a complete negative to the team when he is on the ballcourt. I have never seen a team stick with such a stupid player this long.

8 assists, 8 boards, 2 steals, 2 blocks, 1 turnover

yeah, lets cut that loser

but seriously, he just needs to accept the fact that he is not a scorer...sure he occasionally goes for 20 or 25, but he shoots less than 40 percent

once he becomes a true pass first point guard, he will be a much better player

lol, how many more years are we going to hear that for? I think that's why we drafted a PG. Felton is gone soon anyways, along with McMay at the end of the year.

Everytime he jacks up an ill advised shot, it is a turnover. Therefore, he probably had 10 turnovers in the game.

He has one of the best coaches for PG's ever. He is still a moron. There is no hope for him. He is the biggest reason why the Bobs lose so many close games.

    • If Reich or Fitterer were still around I think the need to extend Young because of what he cost would be stronger.  And yeah Morgan was Fit's right hand when the call was made but there an equal chance that Dan will see it as a chance to move on from Fit and shake off that stink. Holding out some hope that 3 years and clear eyes will allow for an honest appraisal that Young just aint the guy
    • As far as elite/elevate talent QB’s It’s Allen Mahomes Jackson and Burrow that’s it.  Then we have tiers and those can be debated all day Dak is a good QB but I know this board would want him out of Charlotte if he was the QB here. 2 playoff wins in 10 years. Justin Herbert no playoff wins. Threw 4 interceptions in last years playoff game. 23 TD passes last year. 20 the year below and 25 the year before that. This board loves stats without context and these stats aren’t saying they’re much above complimentary  Kyler Murray isn’t good. I’m not sure how he made this list.  Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence both benefiting from some real good offensive coaches right now. They’re both complimentary pieces until proven otherwise  I like Jordan Love. Always have. I wanted to draft him but he isn’t a superstar.  CJ Stroud hasn’t been much better than Bryce after his rookie season. After that Bears game year 2 his numbers very similar to Bryce I will say I think Drake Maye is well on his way to becoming the next top tier QB if I had to pick one from this entire list. I’d also say Baker Mayfield is a damn good QB and I’d take him over most of those guys not in the elite category  Now if you want to debate tools and which QB’s possess tools to put them in higher tiers that’s a completely different discussion. Most QB’s on your main list all have those physical tools that will keep you thinking he’ll become the next top tier QB. They’ll sprinkle in a “wow” play or two a game. Bryce will never look that way. Young’s game at its peak will physically always look different and I think that’s where most people struggle when it comes to seeing how Young’s can be successful in the league  All QB’s need a team around them. I think the Bills are failing Josh Allen much like the Panthers did Cam. Beane and McDermott using same blueprint with Bills team. Josh Allen hasn’t had much in terms of WR’s and it’s ultimately costing them when it matters the most
