So all dead Fans since conception? explain......

all saints fans that have died before today, yes

what about tomorrow and the next 2 weeks before the game?

Have you ever considered that he might've said this because it has taken them so long to get to the SB? There have been plenty of fans of the team since it's inception and I'm sure some are not around anymore.

Just let him have some fun, his team made it to the SB, ours did not.

...or give him hell, it doesn't really matter to me, but he seems to be playing nice. :cheers2:

cheap shots....yes

refs...no. the vikings had less penalties called on them than the saints.

There were bad calls both ways, so it sort of evened out.

Sure, the number of penalties wasn't lopsided. But the constant no-calls on the cheap shots and the ridiculous PI call when the receiver wasn't touched and the ball was 10 yards too far to be caught by anyone are what piss me off.

Where did I give him hell? It just seemed like a large stretch. I was just expanding on his comments inquisitively.

To be honest I feel worse for the fans that saw the game today and wont be there for the superbowl rather than the fans who couldn't fill the stadium ONCE a whole season before 2006.

the cheap shot no calls maybe..the PI was legit, you can't just tackle receivers/TEs. no matter where the ball is.

    • It's not sustainable,  although he deserve credit for the win also, as he made clutch plays as he does with every win we have.
    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
