Maybe Panthers fans, and all other fans of teams that hasn't won a ring should pray a Hurricane sweep through their cities so we can get some sympathy and get a ring cause of it

GTFOH

Being from there, Katrina or watever, Peyton should go out there and win like any athlete is supposed to. Jordan woulda slapped you if you ever mentioned him giving a ring away for any purpose. How long is people going to dwell on this?

I mean if they lose, how long will they dwell on that

People never remember the super bowl loser. they're the same as last years cardinals, if they win it'll be a big deal until 2010 season starts. if they lose, it'll be forgotten the next day.

I still dont understand what a hurricane has to do with a football team. Is it such a shock that a city on the gulf built mainly below sea level got hammered by a hurricane? Those people stuck there should have had the sense to get the hell out days before. Enough with the whole "katrina sympathy" from the media already!!! They will get slammed again its only a matter of time.

Lately the media want others fans to embrace the Saints out of pity for what the city and the people of New Orleans been through. Its been like what five six years ago that Katrina hit.

Oh, and the Saints fans should thank Hurricane Katrina since it delay the owner desire to move the Saints to Texas.

New Orleans has been around for 300 years, Katrina was a one time event. Flooding=/= what happened during Katrina.

You know what else is a one time event?? Saints making it to the superbowl..

You know your city is crap when mother nature has to intervine to purge all the trash out of it... And in most cases when a natural disaster happens on that scale you see the residents unite and work together... Not in nawlins they used it as a oppertunity to loot and commit rape... Stay classy N.O

If our residents hadn't united and worked together then New Orleans wouldn't be in the position it is now. A few animals don't make up a whole city.

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
