all i know is i went to Texas and they were playing "washers"

aside from the obvious difference (throwing large washers instead of beanbags/cornbags) you have for wooden chair-shaped targets.

People from Ohio call washers, "warshers". And they say us southerners are wierd.

their FANFARE ranking system is gay. All that matters to me is the first A...atmosphere. If I wanna go to a game somewhere, I'll figure out the access and all that crap before I get there and I really don't care what they serve for food and the neighborhood etc!

Qwest at 20...sure...who cares...come see it yourself and decide!!!

Are stadiums louder when you're 8'12" tall?

My research shows that the tailgating kind of sucks there, though the fans do appear fairly rabid - with the seasons they have been going through I wonder how true that still is.

My trip to Oakland in 2008 showed me that there were a lot of guys wearing costumes and drinking, but really the fan base was not that up.

yup, unfortunately, there is very little area to tailgate around Qwest and it's continually getting eaten up more and more by construction etc. Lots of bars close by though! The fans are certainly rabid, yes, and frustrated to say the least the last couple of years, but the place is always sold out. Depending on when it is scheduled, I should be at the Panthers game this season as well.

Aren't the Seahawks notorious for sound enhancements to make their stadium one of the loudest in the league?

    • I would say the extremes from both camps in these conversations have to do with the blurring of the fact Bryce is a first overall pick and the expectations for that draft slot fair or not far exceed just being a top 20-25 starter amongst your peers. Regardless. All logical Panthers fans want him to be the answer.
    • The offseason is always when hope springs eternal. If you look past that, you can see a very bad roster with a lot more questions than definitive answers. Let's hope we get a lot of those right, because I think we are a lot closer to another impatient Tepper reset than we probably think.
    • These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
