What kind do you think we will go for?getting players to fit into ron meeks scheme

Do we go NT..for insurance because of Kemos injury?

Do we go 3tech because theres not a lot behind lewis thats proven?

I also wonder if we will keep lewis. He will be 32.But cheap to keep and we know how fox likes vets.I also would not count Derek Landi out yet.

Our current DT

Nick Hayden-6-4 294

Corvey Irvin-6-3-302

Hollis Thomas-6-0-340

Derek Landi-6-2-290

D.lewis-6-2-301

Louis leonard-6-4-325

Tank Tyler-6-2-306

Kemo-6-5-345

We have kemo because we're stuck with him. I don't think they'll take a NT as long as meeks is here. I don't even seen why we should keep a NT coming off an injury in meeks system. It's an uncapped year we can absorb the penalty.

If the NT actually plays like a NT I think it we be ok. Kemo doesn't get pushed back but he doesn't really get a lot of penetration either. A good NT can disrupt the running game instead of just redirect it. I think i remember him forcing a fumble in the backfield and that's it.

I remember they signed him because of a game they saw with him owning lecharles bentley as a raven. I watched those highlights and he looks like a different person.

Thomas and Kemo dont fit in with Meeks scheme but this is more Fox's defense so he will keep the best players. Irvin needs more work but Im sure they dont want to put him on the practice squad and risk losing him. I think we will not bring anyone new in this year and wait for some of the vets to either retire or show they cant play anymore. Then we will bring in 3 technique DT's or any that can get pressure during pass situations

I don't see us spending a draft pick on a DT unless they're the best pick available. We used three draft picks trading for some DTs this season and I don't see us carrying more than 5 on the roster.

Out of those on that list, I see us cutting Thomas, Hayden, and maybe Kemo.

we need a good rotation, we usually keep 5dt/4de or vice versa. As long we play foxball we need to invest in the D-line. Only then can we start winning some games. We're giving up way too much on the ground.

We have enough rotation/developmental type DTs that unless you can get a significant upgrade it'd just be a waste of a pick. Terrance Cody or Dan Williams in the 2nd or Lamarr Houston in the 3rd. Those are the only guys I'd really like to see us draft.

Just the guys you've actually heard of would make you happy

    • My tailoring green idea was not for him to be the starter but to add some value beyond just a developmental quarterback I think size speed is something Bryce doesn't have he has those and would immediately feel the fourth and one package and possibly red zone and some power packages for us
    • Do you have against Willis I believe you're around when we have the draft with corral and Willis were on the board and me personally I was banging the table for Willis as early as round one but a lot of people thought corral was better but it's amazing with a little coaching and time can do with me I always go with potential and upside versus oh the guy just plays football you know sometimes that's not enough
    • I know or needs and this probably isn't with a lot of people want but if he's available at 19 I don't think you can discount that he would be the best player on the board I think with 43 speed he's as fast as leggette. 63240 something he would stretch the field  Strike fear over the middle of opposing linebackers and also probably cure our long time history of no serviceable tight end since Greg Olsen I think a lot of needs like tackle maybe linebacker could be filled and free agency to the point like they did last year where we fix a lot of this and draft the best player we can on the board.  After his combine and the numbers in the 43-in vertical I'm not sure that he will be available but if he is I bet that he's highly considered what say you
