Have you ever seen a Super Bowl...

...turn on such a seemingly innocent play as this one did when Pierre Garcon dropped that first down reception late in the first half? He hangs on, Colts probably go up 17-3 as Manning was on a serious role. Instead, the only time Manning touches the ball over the next 70 minutes is when he hands off three times inside his 10-yard line. When he gets it back the Colts are trailing 13-10. He leads the Colts to a go ahead score, then his coach makes a ridiculous call to go for a 51-yard field goal attempt, giving the Saints at least 30 yards in field position, maybe 40.

The Saints controlled the game with their offense from the moment Garcon dropped a ball right in his hands.

Why do you keep mentioning that play like its a guarantee they was going to score. Garcon was going to get caught anyway

Manning only attacked the end zone twice from atleast the 20 yard line. One was a TD in the first half, the other was badly thrown in the 4th WHEN THEY HAD THE CHANCE TO GO UP 24-16. So I'm not hearing that Manning didn't have the ball for long excuse. Go back, rewatch the Miami-Colts game where pretty much everybody figured Miami won, and Manning scored sooo quickly and won that game

That INT was b.s. All they did was throw short all game

N.O = best defense in the NFL... thats yall believe at the end of the day. People say he choked, I say its a little more than that. Dont expect me to believe he choked against N.O, but didn't against the Jets. Dont mention its the Superbowl crap either

Wrestling been played out since 2003

I'm not shell shocked. They can have their little Superbowl. They wont get another one for the next 45 years. Lets see if 45 years if we'll be around for everybody to root them on for Katrina again

The Panthers will make it back again, and we will bring one home

When did those stupid ass vampires show up?

I always knew it wasn't real but the vampires just ruined the entertainment for me.

I know what you're talking about. That dude is Gangrel & he once form the stable group with Christian & Edge as "The Brood". That dude really did have his teeth filed to look like real fangs from a dentist. Freaky!!

And I agree with you, Meat. I swear the game was going to be a tie if Manning never threw an INT. & keep making good pass. But sadly, he just blew it. He tend to blew games like that in the Playoffs before with the Pats around our Superbowl season & the year after.

    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
