A good friend of mine who recently moved to Boston had to tend to some business down here so he left last night for the long drive. He stopped by my office about an hour ago with an interesting story. He was on the NJ turnpike for an hour. He said that entire stretch all the way through and across the Delaware bridge, he saw no more than 10-15 cars total.

Then to hear the descriptions of the snow banks piled up around Washington DC....:eek:

Damn, the news might be understating the past weeks weather effect.

Just talked to my buddy in Baltimore he is in about 50".

My mom lives in Annapolis...they got 3 feet in just about 24 hours last weekend and were expecting 1-2 more feet around now. My mom was supposed to come down today, but because of all the snow being forecasted she drove down on Monday to try to avoid it all. She said she had walls of snow 5' high on either side of her driveway.

I love the snow and all, and I enjoy being able to just sit inside when there's snow and ice on the ground and not feel like I have to do anything...but that might be too much for me. The dog apparently wouldn't even go outside because the snow was over her head.

      5 yards a carry is great IMO opinion because we are talking an average of 2nd and 5, which means the defense can't sit solely on the pass or run. I understand 5 is an average and not all carries are going to be that, but he definitely had better runs than Chuba. When we have Chuba running the ball for 1 or 2 yards and getting stuck in 2nd and 8 or 3rd and 6, we have to pass - which as we saw was the nail in the coffin for us with Dalton back there. The only 2 drives in the game where we had a legit chance of scoring (before garbage time) was the drive we scored a FG on and the drive Andy took the inexcusable sack on to cost us points. No coincidence that the RB on the field those drives was Rico (who pretty much picked up 5+ yards every carry outside of that goofy direct snap play). It really needs to be a 2-to-1 ratio of snaps in favor of Rico going forward (unless Chuba gets better). I don't care if we are paying Chuba more. Other teams have had no problem benching the guy being paid more if the other player is doing better - just look at the Falcons and them starting Penix over Cousins like 6 games into his rookie season.

      Depends on perspective. I do think the talent is great. Whether T-Mac reaches his potential is another story, especially within these current circumstances. Some of the metrics are really good already (like average yards per catch). Even PFF already had him as the 20th or so best WR in the league.
