Thomas Davis will test his knee on Monday

With all the Peppers drama , it makes me sometimes forget about all the other amazing athletes we are lucky enough to have on our team. Runs a 4.4 and was on pace for 160 tackles? Wow.

Sign this man. Him and Beason working together fore the next half decade will be memorable for all of us Panther fans.

yep. our LB core/secondary is pretty damn amazing. you got Gamble who is one of the better corners in the league, Marshall who is an up and comer, tons of potential and one of the best tacklers.. Chris Harris who leads the league in forced fumbles over the past few years, Godfrey who stepped his game up after Sherod Martin almost stole the starting position, Munnerlyn who is a stud in the nickle..

I love this teams defense and expect nothing but great things if we can fill a few holes in the draft.

Honestly I'm really concerned about TD. Not just because of the injury but since Peppers will most likely be gone, we will need to blitz TD and that's going to put more stress on his knee. I'm worried about him re injuring. I wouldn't be surprised if we tried to snag a LB early in the draft.

    • I don't think working from memory is going to be very productive or useful. You would need to compare them all, which is far easier to do from the breakdowns of each game. That has tiered charts that give real data.  But, even then that wouldn't substitute for a trained eye(s) doing detailed film analysis to attempt to determine if we are modifying the offense dramatically for Bryce.
    • I think front office and general team culture under new ownership is sort of on the right track. The rookies all look incredible compared to where you'd expect each one of them to be right now. Lee's in game coaching is awful, he might be ok as a culture and developmental guy but that can't outweigh the in-game miscues and bad game plans. If LaMelo can't figure out the ankles then I think you gotta trade him for a haul, can't keep having your seasons lost every year because he can't stay on the court. And I say that as a big fan of him. Miller I think is unlucky, he looks likely to be an elite core player for us, but if he can't put together a stretch of healthy seasons he would trend towards LaMelo and need to be moved. I used to like Miles on the court a lot more but nowadays he's just an empty stat guy who needs to go. The short lived hot start to the season was fun but unless LaMelo and Miller both get and stay healthy within the next few weeks I can't even see us being a play-in team this year. And even if they do get healthy, we're probably looking at play-in at best, maybe barely compete for that fringe 6th seed.
