Bears: Olson out, Marshall in?

Mr. Scot

Two items of interest from PFT:

Rumors abound that Bears want Brandon Marshall

Olsen unhappy with hiring of Martz, wants a trade

I think it'd be wise to keep Olsen, but if you lost him and got Brandon Marshall, it'd be a decent trade off.

Regarding Marshall, the question is what it would take to get him. Are the Bears prepared to send more high draft picks to Denver for yet another disgruntled Bronco?

Latest word from the Bears is that they have no intention of trading Olsen.

The lack of a first round pick likely means no Marshall either, unless the Broncos are willing to accept a lower offer, which they have no real motivation to do.

(PFT clarified it has to be their own first rounder, and from this year, which they don't have)

Probably more likely they go after Anquan Boldin or one of the other free agent names.

Also the outright release of Tommie Harris.

What coulda been, T... if only you had better knees... for a couple of seasons there, he couldn't be stopped! He reminds me of the rapid rise and release of one Kris Jenkins... time will tell how much their stories parallel each other.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
