Worst article I've read from the Observer in a while. Interestingly enough it was next to one of the most interesting ones... Ron Green Jr.'s story on the Kobe draft day debacle.

I thnk the front office is doing everything they can to show moore that they believe in him just like they did with jake in years past. As of right now, Matt will be able to throw an interception and not worry about getting pulled out of the game. Jake still would have been a quality back up for us though...i dont care what anybody sais

I don't necessarily know that it's a bad move.

My preference this offseason was to go into next year with Moore as the starter and McCown as the backup, but I didn't expect that to happen because of Delhomme's contract.

It would have made sense to keep Delhomme around for his leadership and intangibles. In those areas, he could have made a good mentor to Matt Moore. But on the flipside, letting him go so that Moore doesn't have him looking over his shoulder is just as valid an option.

You are correct, Moore's completion to interception ratio is abismal....
