As much grief as I've given them, I think the Panther FO has been brilliant lately

i think you are right. i'm not believing that the 2010 season is a wash, i think we can still be solid contenders esp. considering the schedule and much of the players that are still in place.

with that said, i think no matter what happens short of a superbowl win that fox is gone after the season. who ever comes in will have as an ideal a situation to build as they could ask for. if moore is great next year then the new coach has something to work with. if he isn't then he won't be around. it's only a one year deal. the new coach can start from scratch.

i just hope that we don't give up the 2011 1st round pick (or any for that matter) this year. i want us to go into 2011 with a full number of picks. after all the losses so far this year we should have a couple of comp picks coming our way as well. i'm liking the way things are shaping up.

i agree.

I like Moore, my only worry is he might be put in a horrible scenario that will make his stay short. A lack of defense (which is reasonable imo to expect) and Carolina will be forced to go heavy on the pass in games.......and we all know Carolina is a one WR offense and no rookie (or Jarrett) is going to change that. I could see Moore being in a bad spot for his first year as the starter......

I may seem negative on these boards, but i think what they are doing in a positive when looking at 2012 and what the new coach will be able to do. Carolina is doing what needs to be done and looks to be doing it well. They don't want to bring in vets to deals that the new coach will have to bother with whem implementing what it is he is going to do.

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
